Kale Smoothies
It’s Kale week!!!
Yeh buddy, can’t wait to experiment with this superfood. I walked into Whole Foods today greeted by rows and rows of these ‘crisp crinkled-up bunches’. What did the world do without kale? It exploded onto the restaurant scene 5-6 years ago and I’ve been hooked ever since.
Kale tastes like a super-food, super-healthy, super-green and sometimes super-bitter. I’m staring this week out with a few smoothie recipes. Tomorrow I’m experimenting with dehydrating Kale and creating chips and powder… yep that’s right I said kale powder!!!! I’m testing my savory recipes as I type :). Hopefully this week will inspire you to add more kale into your diet. ENJOY!!!
